Having watched the Channel 4 programme, 'Country House Rescue' featuring Pentillie, I will be extremely interested to watch another of Cornwall's hidden gems emerge from the mists of time and neglect. I have had the joy of visiting both The Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project from their opening and would encourage anyone who appreciates the beauty of Cornwall, the wonders of Nature and the history of our countries gardens to visit Pentillie as it is now, and be a part of it's transformation over the coming years. As an artist who is only truly happy when painting and drawing the wonders of Cornwall's sub-tropical gardens (in all weathers), I hope that it will be possible for Pentillies' new custodians to bring the gardens back to life for all to enjoy without loosing it's soul and spirit, and without over commercialization. I hope to visit soon, camera and sketch book in hand! Best wishes.
